Xytel has designed and built Fischer-Tropsch pilot plants for 15 years from multi-reactor systems for catalyst high throughput screening to 10 gal/d pilot plants. Our capabilities include the design of fixed bed reactors with an optimal control of the reaction exothermicity, slurry reactors with continuous product filtration, hot and cold traps, management of waxy products so as to prevent line plugging.
