 Xytel Corporation Welcomes Ernest
L Leuenberger
Ernie Leuenberger has twenty-five years of process experience
in the petroleum and petrochemical industries. He comes to Xytel
from ARCO Products Company, where he was supervisor of the FCC
laboratory for ten years. During his tenure, Ernie modernized
ARCO's circulating FCC pilot plant and used it to evaluate the
catalysts and procedures that allowed ARCO to convert its entire
gasoline production to ultra-low sulfur "California grade
gasoline" while increasing FCC throughput by 10%. In addition
to his FCC knowledge, Ernie has a wealth of catalytic processing
experience that he can draw on to assist licensees of Xytel technology.
His experience at ARCO included the evaluation of business opportunities
in poly-olefins petrochemical processes and heavy oil upgrading
technologies. His fifteen years of experience at Engelhard and
Houdry prior to his ARCO career included supervision of a fuel
gas desulfurization pilot plant, modeling automotive exhaust
catalyst performance from laboratory data, analyzing reformer
plant data, and propane/ butane dehydrogenation plant design. |
